Canadian sailors with Doris Day in Long Beach, 1963.
Doris Day is backed up by a trio of Canadian sailors. I'm on the left, with the glasses and the
HMCS Ste Therese cap tally.
I don't know who the two from HMCS Sussexvale were.
Much to my intense embarrassment several prints of this photo were sent to me at sea in a large package, passed
over to the Ste Therese by jackstay transfer.
This 20th Century Fox publicity photo was taken at the Long Beach naval base. The film was
"Move Over Darling",
and the link will tell you as much as you want to know about the film.
Can you provide names, corrections or details?
Please email Charlie Dobie.
