Robert Berbeck says: "The Red Cross would come down for Fleet blood donations. This was shot January 7th, 1972. Rear Admiral Leir came down to donate and I just happened to have donated my 50th pint and he came over for the photo shoot. Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the nurse. I retired from donating blood in 2008 with a total of 180 pints."
