Refueling at Sea, June & July, 1945.
These are two sets of photos showing oiling ship. Those taken on 17 June
were taken in the River Mersey, and those on 13 July in the Mediterranean, between Gibraltar and
Malta.
Negative ON-0009-3 : 17 June, 1945 : Hauling oil pipe onboard from oiler. The sailor top centre has the name "H. Agnew"
on his back (see the enlargement below).

Negative ON-0017 : 13 July, 1945 : HMS Bleasdale (pennant L50) approaches HMCS Ontario.
Negative ON-0017-2 : 13 July, 1945 : Line is fired from HMCS Ontario to HMS Bleasdale.
Negative #ON-0017-3 : 13 July, 1945 : HMS Bleasdale closing for fuel.
Negative ON-0017-4 : 13 July, 1945 : The fuel line is about to be passed over to HMS Bleasdale.
Negative ON-0017-5 : 13 July, 1945 : The fuel line is about half way to HMS Bleasdale.
Negative ON-0017-7 : 13 July, 1945 : Showing consistant tension to be maintained to prevent hose dropping into the sea.
