HMCS Athabaskan, 1950's

Royal Canadian Navy : HMCS Athabaskan.

This photo of HMCS Athabaskan was taken sometime in the mid- to late 1950's. Originally thought to have been taken off Korea in 1953, a website user has convinced me that it is a later official RCN photo.

This is the second version of HMCS Athabaskan, which was commissioned in 1947 and scrapped in 1969. The first was torpedoed in the English Channel in 1944.
