tied up immediately astern). The last photo may be as well. All but the second photo may have been taken
during or after the same Church Parade.

This photo is unusual, as it is very informal and there is not an officer in sight.
Vernon Clarence Miller is behind the front row, centre, no hat, striped sweater, with his hand on the shoulder of the man in front of him.
AB Alfred Barber, an ASDIC rating from Toronto, is in the mixed-up 3rd/4th row from the top, far to the right of the gun, looking over the shoulder of the man in the white t-shirt.
