Rod Rockwell says: " . . . we were at the USO in Rome when a Yank Padre asked whether
we wanted to see the Pope. While I was wondering what a Baptist from Amherst would want to see the Pope for, a L/M
named Dermot Sweeny pipes up and says: 'Rocky we gotta go, they'll hang me picture in the church!' But I'm glad I went
-- I remember it like it was yesterday."
Dermot Sweeny is 7th to the right of the Pope, next to the sailor in glasses.
