HMCS Thetford Mines : 1944 or 1945
HMCS Thetford Mines was commissioned May 24, 1944, and paid off November 18, 1945.
In an email to me, Gloria Little said that her grandfather, Anthony (Tony) Mazur, was a gunner on HMCS Thetford Mines.
Gloria's son, Darrin McCutcheon, provided these two photographs.
These signatures are on the back of the ship photo. Unfortunately the matting was trimmed to fit the photo into a frame so most of the signatures have been lost or partially removed. Surnames I can decipher are: Archer, Baker, Campbell, Carmichael, Kennedy, Lanette, Locke, Long, Lorette, Millar, Nicholson, Patterson, Pretty, Ranger(?), Rivers, Shaw, Shuler(?), Stinson, Valence, Waller, White.
