Yvan Martineau says: "The Captain had to ask permission to break rank and change course as the MO had to remove one of the bosun
store-keeper's appendix, and it was rough on our course. Somebody reminded the store-keeper to make sure that if they took anything
out they should sign for it. Everything went well and he lived to tell a good tale".
