Foc'sle party, probably when we were leaving San Francisco, August, 1961. That's the Oakland Bay Bridge in
the background, exactly the same view as in the official group photo, so we hadn't yet left the jetty.
Identified so far: Sub-Lt. Abrams is third from left; I think the man next right who is directly
behind the steam winch is LS Fred Compton; man with earphones is unidentified; next right is
CPO George Campbell; next right is AB Robert ("Charlie") Brown (hands clasped).
Man at far right is OSEM Sjolie.
