HMCS Magnificent at sea, 1956.
Larry Thivierge says: " It's a shot taken in the spring of 1956 from a spring cruise around
the Virgin Islands. There was the usual compliment of Tribal Class
destroyers, HMCS Huron, HMCS Iroquois. There was also
HMCS Algonquin as well as a number of US ships. "
Taken on the Maggie flight deck March 1956, in the Caribbean heading towards Trinidad.

The forward lift, which was used to bring aircraft up to the flight deck from the hanger deck below.
Larry says: " This shows a Grumman Avenger on the flight deck. This
was taken in October of 1956 on a cruise to the UK and we docked in Portsmouth. "
Larry says: " This was taken at the Southsea Pier in Portsmouth, England in the fall
of 1956. From the left, AB Preece (deceased), AB Thivierge,
AB Chanin (deceased)".
